If you are ready to embark on the process of growing your family, we encourage you to check with your insurance carrier to determine whether or not you need a referral from your primary care physician or OB/GYN.

When you are ready to schedule your first appointment, contact us!

During your first visit, we will discuss your family-building goals and health history. We will explain all of your potential fertility treatment options and make arrangements for any further testing your physician prescribes.

Your Care Team will also walk you through the process of using a sperm donor to achieve pregnancy, answer questions about the process, and ensure you feel confident in your plan.

Will we need a donor?

Most moms-to-be will need to choose a sperm donor in order to conceive. You have three main options: a known donor (family member or friend), a "de-identified" (anonymous) donor through a sperm bank, or an open or identity release donor, which gives your child the option to contact the donor after they turn 18 years old.

Treatment Options for Conceiving

When it comes to treatment, there are several options for family building for single women or same-sex female couples. Your treatment plan will be personalized to you, based on your health history, fertility levels, family-building goals, and other key factors.

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)

This is a process by which sperm is placed into a woman’s reproductive tract to achieve pregnancy. The procedure involves concentrating semen into a small volume and placing it into the uterus.

Most patients will begin their journey by trying IUI treatment, then move on to IVF or other methods if needed.

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

IVF is one of the most successful fertility treatment options available. In this process, one partner would take injectable medications, then undergo a procedure known as egg retrieval.

Their eggs would be combined with donor sperm in the lab to create embryos, which would then be placed into their uterus to achieve a pregnancy.

Reciprocal IVF (RIVF)

With reciprocal in vitro fertilization (RIVF), one partner’s eggs are combined with donor sperm to create embryos, then the other partner carries the pregnancy and delivers the baby.
